I recall that eventful evening when I was discussing some delicious food recipes with Dharmendra Kumar, Editor, Mediabharti.com, at Home. The topic of discussion was… some interesting food recipes, preparations and their effects on health. Kumar suggested that the eating, outing are considered as luxuries in our society, so there is a need to run a campaign, by which those people should also can get a association who are called as Haven’ts…
We discussed it very long and finally stopped at a conclusion… Why should not we start a complete food website and try to associate those people also with us. So we have lots of camps, food parties with every segment of society in pipeline in coming years.
Kadahi.com would be an ideal platform for those also who have love for food and want to show their talent to everyone.
That is how the seed was sown… Idea immediately struck and work began…
Let me now tell you about the features that have been incorporated in Kadahi.com for our valuable fans and users. Let’s start from the logo. Logo has a ‘Kadahi’ as an image and very colorful text as denoting the variety of food world over.
For smooth navigation, there are three Menus on site. First is Top Menu, which have Links for Home, Articles, About us and Feedback button. Second, the Main Menu, has various sections like— Snacks, Soups, Dal & Sabzi, Non-Veg, Eggs, Roti, Rice, Salads, Sweets, Shakes & Wine as well.
The third footer Menu has our services and other associated websites’ links.
In the main body of site, there would be 4 main stories about recipes and other food related topics. You will get various write ups here by well known faces of online media, along with special features.
Latest Food videos would be displayed in right panel.
There are only two advertisement modules to ensure visitors don’t get irritated or inconvenienced. All the advertisements would be shown in these two modules. And, Strictly ‘No’ to pop ups.
Now, I like to share with you how I have been helped by my friends who have put in a lot of hard work and imagination. I would like to name some of my friends who helped me. Original idea for logo was given by Aarti Verma, well known web designer.
I can’t ignore the marvelous contribution of Utprairna, my sister…, Ankush, Vinay my friends… in web and content designing. I am also grateful of Dharmendra Kumar, who keeps scolding me all the time to aim for perfection.
And… yes… I can’t forget those late night teas and milk that was arranged by my Naniji, and care by Nanaji… and also blessing of my Mom Savita Gupta and Dad Mahendra Kumar Varshney and enjoy the disturbance by my lovely little sisters Rohini - Rukmini, and bro the best Prashant, Mayank…
